When using an isolator, it is necessary to use a control module. The isolator cannot simply be mounted on a standard loudspeaker line. The isolator must be powered, the audio signal must be implemented on the loudspeaker line, and fault detection must be carried out. This functionality is provided by the loop monitor IS8200-100.
In Europe, virtually all products in the Fire & Security sector fall under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and are therefore required to carry the CE marking. Increasingly, countries outside Europe are also adopting this European directive—and for good reason. CE certification ensures a well-controlled process for design, production, and quality control. The result? Greater assurance for the end user and higher product quality in the market.
For OEM customers, TMCDAS offers the possibility to supply certified products under a private label, in compliance with the applicable CE regulations. This means that an additional CE certificate can be issued based on the existing test reports of the original product.
